At each corner entrance, a diagonal corridor extends into the center of
the building. Where these corridors intersect, the commons area has been
developed, with most provider reception areas opening off the commons area.
In the commons area, a sky-lighted roof brings natural light into the interior
of the space. This light, in conjunction with the furnishings and plants,
draws the patients toward the central waiting area.
